Heritage Cornbread Dressing

Cornbread Dressing: 1 loaf of white bread-tear into little pieces one day before, 2 iron skillets of cornbread (made in my grandmother's iron skillets),-tear into little pieces, 2 large onions-chopped , 1 pkg. celery, chopped, 6 eggs, 3-4 TBSP. Sage, 2 TBSP poultry seasoning, 2 cans chicken broth or hen broth, 2 lbs. sausage. Cook celery & onions in small amt. of water till tender. Combine bread & cornbread, sage, poultry seasoning, sausage, eggs & chicken broth, celery & onions. Make into patties & bake in the oven on a greased cookie sheet @ 350 degrees x 30 min.
